Kudimata Securities
An investment platform built from the mobile app down to the ledger
Role
Product architect & engineer — mobile, dashboard, backend, deployments
Kudimata is a platform I architect and engineer across — but Securities is a different kind of project: a new investment product I'm building for them from the ground up, delivered as a standalone platform rather than a feature bolted onto the existing site. It's the kind of build where the backend has to be right before anything else matters: investor money and staff operations both depend on it.
Approach
Backend under MOXN Africa
The production backend is hosted and delivered under MOXN Africa — NestJS and Prisma over PostgreSQL, serving both the investor-facing mobile app and the internal staff admin dashboard from one API surface, so investor-visible state and staff operations never drift apart.
Mobile as the trust surface
The Flutter investor app is where trust actually gets built or lost, so it's the most actively iterated piece — commits land there continuously as flows around onboarding, KYC and portfolio tracking get tightened up.
Verification built in, not bolted on
This is the first product where I wired my own verification-harness and qa-audit tooling directly into the repo from day one — automated checks and audit trails travel with the codebase instead of living in a separate process.
Outcome
Actively in build with daily commits across mobile, dashboard and backend — the newest and most operationally serious product in the current line-up.
