Basket (and Beauty) are apps, web surfaces and servers built to sit behind the same WAWU-ID identity service as WAWU Creators — proven out and staged, not yet public.
Approach
Geography-aware from the backend up
The API runs PostgreSQL with PostGIS for location-aware matching and delivery logic, with Redis handling the real-time layer a six-role marketplace (customers, riders, vendors, and more) needs to stay responsive.
Calm, not cluttered
The Flutter app was deliberately built toward a 'calm, minimal, premium' feel for ordering and delivery — a deliberate contrast to marketplace apps that default to visual noise.
Outcome
Feature-complete across mobile, API and dashboard, staged behind WAWU-ID and ready to launch alongside the wider WAWU Creators rollout.
